International Press Building has been launched for sale by Savills Singapore at an indicative price of S$30 million, reported The Business Times.

The detached six storey building sits on JTC land measuring around 54,000 sq ft, with a gross floor area of 134,000 sq ft and a 2.5 plot ratio.

Being sold with vacant possession, the building has a leasehold tenure of 60 years that began on 16 February 1990, giving it a remaining lease of around 31 years.

Located at 26 Kallang Avenue in Singapore’s central region, it is within the vicinity of public transport along Lavender Street and is a nine-minute walk from the Bendemeer and Lavender MRT stations. It is also accessible via the East Coast Parkway, Central Expressway and Nicoll highway.

Additionally, the property is in close proximity to commercial, industrial and residential developments such as Jalan Besar Sport Centre, Aperia Building, V Hotel Lavender and condominiums.

“This is a rare opportunity to own a Business 1-use site located at the city fringe with superb accessibility to the MRT and amenities. The site’s prominent and unblocked visibility facing the main Kallang Road will offer occupiers a strong branding presence,” said Sharon Teo, Savills Singapore managing director of business space.
