Frasers Property in talks to possibly sell Frasers Tower

Frasers Property has been “in discussion with certain parties who have expressed interest” in acquiring its 38-storey premium Grade A office tower at 182 Cecil Street.

The developer made the statement on Thursday (April 4) following a Bloomberg query on acquisition talks related to Frasers Tower.

It noted that there is no certainty that any transaction would result from such discussions.

“Frasers Property continually reviews opportunities to enhance shareholder value, including potential opportunities to collaborate with new investors and/or divest our interests in projects/assets,” said the developer.

“In the course of such review, we may from time to time enter into discussions with parties for potential investments in or divestment of our interest in our projects/assets.”

With this, the company has advised shareholders to refrain from taking any action in respect to their shares within the company that may be prejudicial to their interest, as well as to exercise caution when dealing in the company’s shares.
